The Majestic 12 Mixes (MJ-12-03)

This mix, entitled Contentment Through Rhythm & Booze with Donald Menzel, is the third of a twelve part series that I’m putting together along with my good friend and musical confidant Kevin O’Neil. This mix series was inspired by the Majestic 12 — a top secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by President Harry Truman to deal with the escalating U.F.O. problem (allegedly). We discovered each of these playlists handwritten on parchment within a deep cave in Twentynine Palms, California. The interesting part, of course, is that none of the music featured in these playlists had been created at the time the playlists were written. This is a mystery that, perhaps, will never be solved. Nevertheless, after concealing these documents for several years, we located the music and mixed the tracks together. These mixes are now presented here for your listening advancement. You can read more about the Majestic 12 on Wikipedia. Enjoy.
