This is my submission for the Getty Images video remix competition. I won the competition back in 2010 and this time I wanted try something completely different. At first, I wasn’t sure whether I’d take part in the competition but an idea lingered. The idea was to create a music video / documentary film trailer for two tracks from Madlib’s Beat Konducta In Africa. I managed to connect with Egon of Madlib Invasion and he granted use of the two Madlib tracks. This video is the result. Watch it on Vimeo if you like.
